Btw organizers are smart because they made it 1,000,000 $ not 1 mil euro :D  :P
Well Valve is American studio so no wonder prize is in $. I know 1€=1.4$ so they save $400k but I don't think they use dollars just to save money...
Anyway $1,000,000, €1,000,000, £1,000,000 or even 1,000,000 CZK is big prize for winner team imo.

yeah its doesnt matter if $ or anything else cause of nowadays economic crisis most currencies come closer together and this is maybe one small reason, but more its cause $ is still most spread currency in the world and cause theres a lot of chinese teams in china $ is most popular money for transfer ;)

Yesterday Tyloo won WCG, beating IG in finals. As i said, tyloo > gamescom like np. Anyone who thinks that EU teams got chance to beat china should go play mahjong 3d :/ Only Na'vi could get close to the finals with their unusual push strats.

Anyway

1. Tyloo
2. IG
3. DK
