Admins used to rely on a few donators to pay for the server. It was working really well. But you could never catch any information relating to donations, everything was kept secret.

One day, the head admin decided that his work worthed some money. Or that people who played a lot needed to pay a little fee for that service that used to be free.

So he set a "gold accounts" system : "you can play freely 2 games/day. If you wanna play more game / day, you need to buy that gold account (via paypal or so) : 2€ / month.

3 months later the ladder had already lost 80% of its players. 6 months later it was definitively closed.

Imo this isn't happening here, there is no limit games/day and you don't need to pay for anything.
Let's say that server and bots will be down for 3-4 days (10th - 13th) every month because of maintenance/technical reasons. Add bolded sentence to Announcements to avoid threads like this and many others. No1 could cry than that "bot is down, wtf admins?!"

Did they also have rules/system like we do ? cause I see 1/10 games a leaver or afker and I play with 16 ms.

The ironic thing is even mods/admins told this xxx times you people still do not get it. If we needed money,we could have just told you that we need money to run the server and only donators can play or whatever etc,cause tbh pd.eu deserves it allready

but no,in order to disable a huge lag period we decided to put some limits to only hosting for 4 days.Can't you handle it?

so stop acting like you know anything about pd.eu's future,as long as xpam remains pd.eu will have %95 of that servers games and players.

4 days in a month without pd isnt really worth of the energy you spent coming over here and crying about greed and injustice, cause after 4 days you go back playing on it for free on a free server (and most likely continue being a dick on the games too)
