Donations or payment?
« on: June 09, 2011, 20:54 »
Dont get me wrong but I think that this with pd.eu bots offline was made up just so you can get money...
You are counting on nolifers to pay you so they can play, and there are many of them here... Everyone that paid( YES PAID, NOT DONATED) today are nolifers, that cant think of one day without dota...
You got just today around 100-200 euros (Just my guessing) which you didnt earn from the very beggining of pd.eu...
Today nobody donated, everybody PAID... Donation is when you send your money because you want to, and not because you want to play...

My deepest appologies if Im wrong, and if this is not planned... I think there will be more "problems" with this bot in future, and perhaps you willl shut down bot again, and let nolifers fill your pockets...
Icy try not to delete this thread, I want oppinion from others..

Ofc bots were offline because fawkz needs money to run this bots... Is that so weird? Like the guy who works in the store, he need money to buy things he is gonna sell... Fawkz can't run this bots if we don't help him. And yes, I donated, not because I wanna play, it's because I like this community and if I can, I will always help. And what's a few euros? Nothing, so I'm glad I could have paid or donated, whatever :)

Why does it bother you as lifer if they payed or donated? You can think if few days without dota so enjoy your thinking  and stop spaming.
You got everything explained here so just go and read it:

My friend, nothing is free today. Fawkz helped us many times, provided us great bots. What would b.net be without PD.eu bots? You can see that those days when bots are off, nobody plays dota. So I think at least we can do is help fawkz, the same way he helped us when we needed help.

Yes, final_end, nothing is free today, but if I wanted to pay, I'd buy original W3 and Frozen and play on original battle.net.

Excuse me , why you think its payment ?

You get free hosting service with no lags , only when server lags ,but thats nop common thing. And someone has put money and efort in it ,including fawkz who pays around 200 euros a month from his own pocket, myubernick who codes the bot and it can take mounths of his free time so all those request you ask to be implented can be coded on bot.

There is Donation section ,and you could se there were 1 mounthly donation which is max 10euros. Also community gets some money from google adds ,but it is nothing compared to 200 euros for server expences.

Also you kept spamming forum : Omg it is not good system ,omg pro vs noobs ,omg mute abuse ,and you got 80% problems solved with in new season ,and none donated something for effort.
Also after new season none gave at least 5,10 euros , 5 euros are maybe 4,5 ice screams ,or 2 go-outs in caffe (at least in Serbia),we had to ask again.

I would like to see you how it feels to give something to people and you need to pay 200 euros mounthly.

man no one is forced to donate so he can play dota .. pd bot is free they have problems the pd bot will be back in 4 days. if they r nolifers like u said they can just go ahead and play in garena or in other bot (and there r ppl doing this right now).when u donate its from ur deep intention to help the community but about they give u the right to host its a gift from them b/c the ppl who donated to help them shouldnt be the same as the one who didnt

if its payment why the bot will start to work again on 13th of this month? if they want just to rape money they could just add a new special reward to contributors which that only contributors r allowed to host pd bot games. ( i mean in these 4 days and after those 4 days)

P.S :nolifers can just play in other bots or in garena 4 days without pd bot wont make them suicide

Well,  i dont agree. Every maintenance costs in some way.So is this server which is used by us. When u look on stats database u can see that almost 140 000 people made their accounts (even half of them are maybe multiaccounters). So devide that 200€ by 140 000users(or eaven 20 000) and u get sad number of € per person.
Truth is that u need to donate/pay for hosting game(on free sever),and it doesnt look nice, but couse of that lot of morons didnt play today and im grateful for that..   Morons like:multi acc, flamers, quiters and the rest of bastrds which doesnt care about this community or even treasure the work of mods and admins.
So, even this euros end up in somebodys pocket, 0.01€ per soul is small fee to pay for a decent game.

Man, he wouldnt do this if he was poor, he probably has 8 hour job every day and 1000 euros monthly salary...
You are talking like 200 euros is too much. In Serbia it is, you know it, we have low standards, but in other countries its nothing, people have couple thousands euros salary..

Its like selling glass of water in Africa for 100 euros. You know they need it, and you know they'll pay because they cant live without it. Its same with dota!

Most of them don't have home they buy it for credit.Ok lets see 1000e
for house 200e if hes living alone he pays 500-600 for food than all bills for water electricity and other staff
+200e for hosting.

It's not so easy to give 200 euros every month just to help people you don't even know. And he can't even get 5 donations per month? I would do the same thing he did with bots...
