Sounds like improvement. But can we disable this on individual basis? Spamming this each minute is too excessive and this is like youtube adds or any site adds without adblockers. Hosting games is now harder for the host and for players because these additional lines makes tracking what's going on from 8 available lines in lobby less effective and next can be expected:
- checking players will be much harder since this will pop-up out of nowhere
- more leavers after they realize they have not been locked with their friends or are in stack with 2-3 players with very bad stats
- the host will need more time to make the game
- having only 8 visible lines available in lobby is a mess, now in all that mess with additional line during higher activity in lobby will make lobby chat unreadable
Ideas and solutions:
- change lobby interface and chat space from 8 to 12 or more lines
- in client in gproxy options make a button to enable/disable
- integrate adblock to the system
