I like S&Y. With Zeal+Yasha you get super AS quite soon. Sange gives you some survivability and because you have great AS you slow enemy quite often. And for me it is easy to get it:
Farming can be easy - you can go last hit everytime because of Zeal. I mean you go last hit so ranged enemy often hit you but with Zeal you get your HP back quickly. You can also go to fight neutrals, with Zeal and Quelling Blade it is easy as well.
And if you are on lane with ranger who has slow or stun(Trax, Windrunner, AA...) you can kill enemys easily, again because of Zeal's bonus AS.
So I always get S&Y quicky because of TB's farming potential that is later even better because of S&Y, then I'm strong enought (I mean I have AS, MS and HP) to get gold for other items.
So I go for S&Y almost everytime.

agree now is SaY imo core for him easy and fast to build and with this skill set its very strong and as said you got everything you need to get next stuff through kills and farm

diff imo just optional not core, sometimes its handy against some heroes and if not better bearer

Diffu is way good item for him ,just get agi and slow and you rape for sure.

maybe if you played bad or you cant farm so its very good option to boost your kill power with it but if everything as should be, with TB skadi is powerful for him
and depends on game its always flexible

Skady is the best item but this new s&y  is a cheaper solution.

Skadi is a so overestimated item, especially now. S&y , manta and thats it. I wonder who will farm skadi in a decent game pff

If you cast ranged form you get 2 illusions, if you cast manta in that time you lose those illusions and gain 2 more from manta.
Would be way better to go for:

for core items:
2 wrath bands
stout shield
s&y
dominator
power threads

deluxe:
skadi/mkb
buriza
butterfly

Also it depends on the opponents.

Thats not true. U dont loose any illusions. You cast ranged, then you cast manta, and whoop - 5 TBs. Tested. Imo, for a ganking TB SnY is cool, but if ur gonna carry the game at lategame Manta > SnY (Use the yasha on manta!). Skadi is cool, Helm also, bfly rocks etc etc etc

man if u use 3rd skill u get 2 illusions (and u have 3 terroes)then u use manta u get extra 2 illusions u dont acually lose the other 2 illusions from ur 3rd skill so in total u get 5 terroes

my opinion about terror .. fast manta and finish the game
