Hello,
What do you think about luck in dota?
I've found out that many players don't know or don't believe in luck.
Some times you have luck when hooking, farming in forest and find enemy with low hp etc. But they always call you MHer.
How is luck important in noob and in pro games in your opinion?
I often see player calls other one "lucker" when you miss him (Mortred, Void, any hero with evasion) in 1v1 battle. It can be luck as well as math - he has probability to avoid or dodge that dmg/hit.
Also they call other player "lucker" when he successfully escape with low hp using juke spots, tangoes or Quelling blade. That is skill but imo you need a bit of luck. And brain so you will not get kill by neutrals

Luck is major factor in world ,so it is in dota. Example :

You made a web site which is awesome and great ( in dota you are pro to make compare ) like facebook (i dont use fb much but site is good to find someone and something ,but reator of site had major luck that facebook was noticed by people and now it 2nd most visited web. So you can be pro and stuff ,use juke spots and go in trees ,use venos snakes to block enemy and you survive with 1 hp and enemy dies , that is pro for sure ,but imagine that your enemy's hit did 2 more dmg ,you would die.

yep. luck is major factor in dota too... my axe doesnt spin at all, i never backtrack 2-3 ultis in row like i saw on some videos on youtube... and dmg(eg. 56-64) + crit  and runes can be just the thing u need in right moment...

Ye sure sure...i will not even comment on this!!!

But my luck with ogre magi is like 0.0001 chance to hit multi-cast!I have better chance of finding divine rapier in the woods than hitting a multi-cast...sometimes my stun doesn't even work xD

Yea, I sometimes do 2x multi-cast but I often get 4x multi-cast when playing against Ogre Magi  :'(
And if I survive it he pwn me with his club...

Yeah, but you mostly remember only the bad things... You will not find it lucky when you hit mort 6 times in a row even though she has 30% evasion, but you will consider yourself highly unlucky if 2-3 multicasts in a row land on you (even though there is a fairly good chance of that). Thats why its called percentage, and a good player will take this percentage in consideration when deciding between attacking and retreating etc. In my opinion, people who shout LUCKER the whole game are just a bunch of idiots. There are certain instances where someone can be considered lucky, mainly running away with 1-2hp 5 times in a row, but this can also be considered knowledge of the game, spell damage, attack damage etc..

Totally agree. Just remember how I did double kill just with Spectre's ulty on low lvl and without mana burn...

That's not true... If someone goes to hook you, and you move in last second then it is luck, it's not hookers fault... Luck in DotA is, like other guys said, major factor and if you're not lucky, bad things can happen

You should say "If someone goes to hook you AND YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT HIM and you move in last second then it is luck."
Else I guess it can be skill when you see him and you move just before he try to hook you.

Yes, I was thinking that, if you don't see him and you move in last sec, just didn't said it quite good enough

I don't only remember bad things but I am just saying that the last 10 games I played with Ogre I didnt land a single  2+  multi-cast and mby I landed 1 or 2   2x  multi-casts :/  Usually I am very lucky with blind hooks and sun strike etc...)  i only have rly bad luck when playing fucking Ogre Magi!!!!
