HELP: Linken sphere against axe?

Hi I played against axe and I bought linken to counter him but it didnt work on Culling Blade and Berserker's Call.......He used all spells on me but linken didnt stoped them. Is this some special skill of axe or something?
Does Linken works against axe spell and on wich ones?

Your linker probably blocked Battle hunger spell

linken's blocks only SOME TARGETED spells
spells that don't require target will still work

Berserker's Call
 Battle Hunger
Counter Helix
Culling Blade

because it didnt work at all that game.

it wont stop culling blade. as abbadons ulty doesnt heal when axe ulties him he dies so does linken it wont stop it I THINK you will die because the damage goes through everything armor/magic resistance etc.

it can stop if abbadon do ulti before axes ulti i means if he does it not automaticly

Culling blade is physical damage , not magic so linken wont stop it ...

bkb doesnt stop ulti's at all so thats bs

Linken only stops targeted spells, so the ones where you actually click on the hero to cast. So berserker's is out, counter-helix is out. As for culling blade, i dont know, and the situation with battle hunger could be similar to that of doom, it will maybe only block the first damage source, but continue with DoT

abadon can heal all dmg done to him..as long as that dmg doesnt kill him instantly(if ulti if on ^^ ofc)

The best thing is when you see someone picked axe again vs you in game just pres alt+q+q. I mean that will stop him from killing you deffinitly.
