New season questions

We are restarting it at the moment so everyone gets a chance to be on the top, current top places on ladder are decided more by how much you play and how much you farm and how much you kill and stack your team rather than how good you play also for new players it's impossible to cache old players in the ladder position.
New system will change that, you get to the top very quickly if you play very good, so there won't be need to restart the ladder every 2 months.

I have a question about this, because as it is now no matter if you play good it still depends on your team because you will never get + points if you lose but played very good?

And I was also wondering about the icons. Will there be any icons for in channel that we can win?
And for what do we get these, only being in top or also for top Kills, Denies, Creep kills etc.

Last thing I wanted to ask is, will there be any special Playdota.eu tours when we have the new season?

U still get good stats if you play good like assists and kills/deaths ratio so, you do your best

well playing very good doesnt mean 10/0 kd. It means gank, team play etc. u farm with morph u dont with cm. If heroes know their role in game - the only thing that can beat u is pick. For now ive seen that ppl focus on win much more than stats ( vs old ladder)

Yes I focus on win aswell but what I am trying to say is wether you have 100/0/75 and creeps 900/200/300, if you lose, you still will lose points. No matter how good you played

its still no outpick just mass carry pick, only depends on skill and who u play with and against who, with my post above i didnt mean on DOTA WITH PD bots, i meant generally dota, jst nevermind its ok u have your opinion i have my, tnx for sharing cya

We made a new relative rating system based on ELO, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system

Current system is a relative one based on player's (team) PSR and W/L.
A lot of gaming platforms are using this one and it works perfectly, the old absolute one was pretty useless because for ex. carry players had more chances to reach the top positions even losing every single game.

This new sys shows the real PRO players and real NOOB ones; it also tries to promote the teamplay for a team game; this system avoid pub stomppers vs a proper stacked team.

People will  get used to teamplay even they are not an stacked team, it will be the only way to have a chance to win, no more solo playing, more skilled pub games are incoming thx to the system (Even CW like after some time..).

If you keep dissapointed about the current system evaluation, think that for ex. in a soccer cup/league it doesnt matter how good a team played if that team lose...

Ok, and Imo this system works very nice. I really love it.
But if I remember correctly, we were gonna get icons, is that still gonna happen?

fawkz without any doubt or comment this system is better in every point then the old one,its twice a better place now to play, learn and get better, 100% teamplay now
my opinion would be to add reconnection tool (in this case g proxy) as must, because if u really have connection issues it will try to get you back in game ofc if u didnt intend to leave.
As its now more team oriented, 5v4(not to mention 5v3 even if i did now ) is in MOST cases unplayable(many are going to comment this now u can this that...blabla. It is a 5v5 game of 10 players not less so games with less then 10 are ridiculous like it is not the same game.
