IMO for nothing maybe a bit good idea but to implement good chat is hard even that on FB sux really hard and if you want to chat with some1 you exchange your skypes no. or be on xfire app and it gives a much more than chating or some other way  and if you want to be in contact just for some time with anybody PMs just enough ;)

Alot of forums have a chat... but maybe it is phb3 i think this forum is from Webmasters it don't have any chat builded..
