Just an idea, what if it's made so that accounts which are less than X days old cannot host?

This information is provided by the server through the command '/finger username'.

Im up for this finally some good idea after some number of games ppl will be sick of bad hosting and playing badly so if they reach the value most of them become good hosts cause they wouldnt have these kind of games

GREAT idea, only old accounts can host, or maybe even better only accounts that played in last season can host games on pd, so perma bans, can't host current season if they make new accounts, and if ban not perma than it's punishment 7 days no hosting until he gets banned if multiacc,
so any taughts on this idea people!!!
Only nick's from past seasons can host game's ?   would be very nice!!!

even public bot needs some regulations in this way - yes every1 can play but hosting is big responsibility to others and to game itself and a lot of players are new and behave like morons its like a gun do you give it to any1 and foremost unexperienced ppl? I dont think so maybe if used good but in most cases a lot of pl use it badly so this idea will make this place much more better for all of players
as I said before after many games you know that hosting is hard and you would to keep games good not like the bad ones you played, this regulation changes your behavior to better lvl
I know its very idealistic but all is create on ideas
so I hope this will be implemented in new bot or sooner

I know it was suggested - but i havent noticed any deliverance... Thats why i create new discussion.
Agree public host is public, but it does limit the access by bans allready. This is just kind of trial period for ppl who wanna use !pub command. I'm not taklking about some restrictions - imho it could be 20+ games and still it could affect a lot of "multiple acc hosts".

I think as i write earlier this rule has serious chance to lover the !unbanreq and !banreq caused by unproper hosting.

Well if u haven't played 50 games no reason u to host games anyway, so just go enter a game that some1 created, this rule will only affect angry hosts that ruin games and host maners will improve allover..
i belive the community will benefit from this much....

This is great idea imo. This will prevent morons who have 100 accounts to abuse rules eg rage quitting after death and etc.. TRapemnoob or RO Godz w/e but e.g. 50 games needed to be played.

How will it work?

When player joins lobby 90% hosts will check your !sd and they will see 0 games and u get kicked (in almost all pro games lobbies). So all who want to have hosting privileges (to choose who will play and who not) must have e.g. 50 game played.

Ok fine, what about new players who are good and new to PD.eu?

They will have to play noob games and would have been considered as noobs in begging as they would have been considered noobs in other similar public leagues. In TRapem or apem mega nooobs games u can boost your stats easily (thx to me) and then join pro games with gosu stats.

So I support this idea, since no1 cares what one pubber thinks (I dont remember that PD ever accepted some1's idea who wasnt staff member) and this should be temporarily solution till new rating system comes online (if ever does).

This is brilliant idea and it has my support.

It will not affect regular and (i hate to use this word but here we go) "normal" players because lets face it: 50 games? Who dont have it atm?

It may affect new players but if they are really new and unfamiliar with PD.eu bots they will not host games anyway. Its true they will be kicked from "pro" games with 0 games played but its alright. They might be kicked from "normal" games if host consider it necessarily but hey, it happens too. They will have to play "noob" games but if they are really good and their stats will rise up fast they will soon be accepted in most of the games.

It will affect "rage hosts" (as mentioned before) which are multiaccount/incomptetent/choleric players. They will really think over before they leave/ruin game/abuse host privileges (risk to be banned) cause it takes few seconds to create new account though but it takes so much time to play 50 games if thay cant host it!!! Some one mentioned that it could be done in like 2 days. Maybe yes but only if they spent 24 hours playing and who would do this? Maybe once. But after doing this they will hell take care of the next game they will be hosting because they will not want to repeat this again.

PS: About number of the games. It dont necessarily have to be 50. It could be any other number which seems fit into this rule. But I really speak for this number to be counted ONLY from games ended by destroying tree/throne!! NOT ended by !rmk/!votekick/leave/connection lost.

So one last time: I really like this idea. I really do.
