Another topic on night_must_fall

I wasn't going to mention this on the forum at first, but as I see multiple threads on the validness of night_must_fall appearing on different places on the forum I feel obliged to contribute this weird thing that happened to me the other day.

Night_must_fall joined a game I was in, and was kicked by NEGERTIVS because of previous established personal dislike. I will not lie about what I whispered to him, it was exactly this:
"Go plug somewhere else"
He then immediately threatened to ban me, after which I literally replied:
"I didn't know whispering was a bannable offense"
At that point he got angry and whispered me back with more threats, after which I, again literally, and nothing more, replied:
"If you ban me for something which is not stated in the rules I will make a forumpost about it"
Immediately after this I was banned for "whisperspam". I obviously didn't post on the forum, as you can see, because frankly, I didn't give a shit.

Just wanted to let you guys know you have an admin running around loose banning people on personal basis.

You know whats funny about what you said, This happened what a month ago?, and already has been taken care of. And insulting a admin by saying "Go plug somewhere else" and then being smart with this remark "I didn't know whispering was a bannable offense" is bannable.

Actually, it happened quite recently, about a week ago I guess. And like I said, that the unban (apparently) has been taken care of isn't of any interest to me.
Now, what I whispered could indeed be called provocative, but it was based on a previous occasion involving him leaving a game I was in, and I didn't want him to ruin another game. Also, I wasn't being smart about my second remark, I really didn't know it was a bannable offense.
This ban was obviously made purely because of his emotions, he got mad because I provoked him a little and frankly, someone who throws bans around at people he dislikes isn't being responsible.

Moderators should ignore all the spam they get via whispers?

You don't want him in your game, then don't let him play; why go beyond and mock him as well? What was the purpose in that?

My interest is stated in my first post, I advise you to read it again if you didn't find it at first.

I might have been a bit rude at first, which changed in my following whispers, but that shouldn't be a reason for a direct ban, especially since I didn't flame at all, nor did I "spam" him.

If you were a little more serious about your complaint you would have sent it to a head moderator instead of opening a topic for it.

As the people/person in charge of the moderators seem(s) to have no problem with a corrupt moderator I address the public directly.

Actually Fnelleh was whispering him because he was sitting next to me on LAN and saw me being threatened via whisper by this night_must_fail character. This incident took place a small while ago, and since the PD.eu moderation has a long standing tradition of recruiting complete morons and ignoring power abuse allegations completly, I decided to drop it, because talking to you people is like talking to a braindamaged chinese wall.

I saw him in the lobby, there was a minor discussion with my dutch friends, who asked me that I kick him. After I did, I got shitty whispers like "amg wat joo call me huh" "mi ban joo" etc. night_must_fail has acted like this before so I wasnt really surprised, all I whispered back was something like "please leave me alone on whisper". Ofcourse nicht_must_fail's e-penis wasnt satisfied after such an anti-climax and he went looking for an excuse to ban my brother, who replied only because he was like "dude this is just too much, who does this moron think he is". Ofcourse there is no real evidence of this, since I decided not to pursue the matter, making this discussion rather pointless in itself. But hey, just another incident to add to night_must_fall's already impressive collection of abuse.

Oh and I see my impassionate argument for relieving pressure on gamehosts has been closed with no reason provided. Superb moderation work!

@lobotomy: most valid post here. Everybody can claim that they "whispered something like: Hello buddy" and were banned for whispering spam. The other side can simply say they "recieved something like: Me fuck ur mother retard ok?" and we will have nice stallemate. If you want people to objectivly judge something bring some proofs.

The burden of evidence here lies with the mod who posted the ban lol. If you want to convict someone for a crime, you have to come up with evidence. Unless Night_must_Fail has a screencap with this supposed "whisperspam", there's no proof that the "crime" even took place.

Of course, it would help if Fnelleh had a screenshot proving his statements, but as it stands it's just his word against that of the mod, which means the evidence is inconclusive either way.
