I guess the answer is in the verb "playing", no? As in to play - to have fun. Regardless if your friend is on your team or is against.
Have been through this on many places, trust me, even if it should be "forced" or "automatic", the games are still very much enjoyable. With or against friends.

I heard a lot about this new system.....It looks promising....Got something like chess ELO rating.That is good.If they make !balance command obligatory if you want to game used in stats that would be perfect
