Ban abuse is when host bans player who DCed and had good score, in other words when its obvious that he didnt left game or plug.

So glad this is on the rules page now. So how does this work? Those who get banned for dc, do they ask for ban host on their unban request or they have to work out a ban request separately? And how is this abuse punished anyway? Don't see any specific penalties laid out in the rule section.

If you get dc and you have good score and you got banned you still need unban req and i suggest contacting mod in server so he can easily solve the request becuase it is obvius one and report host for banning you

When the player didn't have the intention of leaving, when it's not his fault.

Also when host bans a player he shouldn't have banned.

If 40% of users in game complain about unplayable conditions (with !rmk) in the first 10 minutes of the game, all players have to leave (and game owner can rehost the game).

If the owner bans people under that condition, that's ban abuse.

Also if a player leaves in the last few minutes of the game, the rules state it's a warn. If the host bans people leaving a few seconds before the game ends that would also obviously be ban abuse.

i understand. thanx for explaining. but what is the punishment for ban abuse?

i ask because my friend had wrote ban abuse ban request, and it got denied with no explanation.
im not questioning his decision, and pointing fingers. just simple explanation in few words would be enough.

...it was pretty obvius ban abuse...from my point of view

Punishment for ban abuse is usually 2-5 days ban.
