What is the best "TANK" in DotA ( Defence of the Ancients)

or multiple bashes. and you can stun heroes with bkb on (not every stun though?)

bash doesnt stack for some time now... but mort can be taken care of with blade mail, bash, mkb with true strike, something like that.

all of this is takling about nothing - word "tank" is usualy used in games (like WoW where there is reason to have pure tank) where u can TANK some enemies and other ppl can dps/disable/etc.. And coz we all know that dota is usually (everytime) played against real players u cant force them to attack "tank" only. IMHO if u wanna play this ping pong with the words there is only one hero which could be called tank, but only for a few seconds = axe.
It's like discussion about whitch is the best DotA hero...

@ Domagoj: Y, but he might kill whole team in few seconds (if he gets lucky with 2-3 crits) even before u realise he jumped in... anyway he was just giving an example and this topic is still very stupid.

kosarkas if i didnt fail with my math, lvl 25 cent with 6 hots will deal 180,7damage as return.
as you mentioned slardar with ac, desolator, hex?, avatar, power treads and any item for dmg or attack speed.

i bet cent would win the fight lol. you slardar doesnt have any str gain items OR life steal so his max hp would be 2207? while cent would have 6859hp.

2207 hp slardar

6859hp centaur (+ additional 300 hp from EACH hot=1800. 8659 hp in total)

lets see, each hit takes 180,7dmg from slardar (works like blade mail).

12,2 hits slardar would be dead if centaur cant hit even once. if centaur can hit EVEN ONCE its about 9-10 hits then. centaur would deal nice damage each hit. 6 hots provides 240str and base str together are 360 because 1str=1 damage.

also centaur can stun every now and then getting even more free hits. while slardar stuns > he gets 180,7damage in his face.

centaur with 6 hots > slardar with ur shitty items.

Bersek works but orb effect doesnt...so get sange yasha and mom on bara is not big deal to fail...you dont really need maim from sange you need atack speed and bash but what bara really needs is 2 bracers and pt and he is strong as hell
