Client wont update

Hello,
I observed that my eurobattle.net client won't update at all, I tried to reinstall it, but it didn't help.

Every time I open it, the auto-update is run, and it throws the following msg(see attachment as well):

Update info is empty. Update servers are down or there might be a problem with your internet connection
Updater finished
Update failed. Check the log or update tab to find out the reason.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is like that for a month now, and I don't know what to do.
In the same time I happen to see that the standard commands in the dota chat don't work for me anymore, such as !sd, !rall and !rs (but when the other guys use them it works), I don't know if it's correlated or not, but please help me with that as well.
