Don't Pick Rylai if :

    * You enjoy kill-stealing.

Hero Abilities

-Crystal Nova
Blasts enemy units around a target point with a wave of damaging frost that slows movement speed and attack rate for 4 seconds.

# Slow decrease move speed by 30% and att speed by 20%
# Max cast range is 1100 (700 cast range and 400 aoe)


A great slow on early levels that turns into a decent source of AoE damage later. Its range is outstanding.

- Frostbite  Freezes the target in a case of ice, prohibiting movement and attacking. Deals 70 damage per second.

# Renders the target impossible to move or attack.
# Works like a ministun (stops channeling spells/tp scroll)
# Makes invis units visible while in effect
# Lasts 10 seconds on creeps level 5 or lower.


Great disable spell for ganking.

-Brilliance Aura Gives additional mana regeneration to all friendly units on the entire map.

# Stacks with ring of basilus Brilliance Aura.
Best Aura in Dota!!

Freezing Field Causes many random icy explosions in an area surrounding Rylai. Enemy units in the Freezing Field are slowed. Can be improved by Aghanim's Scepter

CHIKEN IS A MUST GET ITEM!!! tangos for some base dmg/hp/mana(later on will be used For Magic Stick) clarity if u need to frostbite/nova often/ Tangos For Survivability in lane when geting harass/nukes (OPTIONAL: SALVES)

if ur team doesn't have hero whos making one u should go for it (extra mana regen and hp bonus FTW)

Don't Forget to always  Have Tp scroll with u

imo we should go treads str on rylai and not doing bracers insted of this .
dagger is 1st serious item we should do .
rylai is good hero if u play priv ! on pub game it can fail so dont pick it immediately .

u fail threads is epic fail  couse it costs 950 and instead of that u can get ogre axe for 1k  and later u can use it for bkb and threads is useless since cm doesn't need att speed at all

Only this:

1.Rylais aura is not best one ,best ones are those who are good in late game so rylais aura is not good in late game ,maybe it is good for axe to have it because he is so low mana and very depandent of mana.
My best aura is obsedians ,better use than rylai for some casters and some tanks who have more casting skills ,and one of mine best is degen aura from omni which is good in all parts off game  + wisp tether is very good for gank and omni becomes killing mashine + add axe in game should come up well

2.
My item builds nearly same maybe make lothars ,adds some dmg for farming and can cast ulti hidden which is good,dagger is imba item but you need black king bar as well ,also good for hp and dmg (farm) good replace for lothar and i think more efficent.

If you start pawning others with rylai get some hp and protection to secure your life so they dont get easy money on you ,and if you pawn more get dagon as like to do when my game is good ,but those ff games

3. Teammates:

-Ursa for killing and 2 man ganks (very good combo)
-Roof with ulti better than AOE stuners lasts longer
-Some more dissables and slowers

4. One usseful trick :

When you chanell your ultimate you can mowe . how? If somevody in your team has force staff you can mowe and still chanell ultimate which si pretty coll when they run Works on any Chanelling hero

lol if u go fb and u have like venge in ur team as pick nova is way more usefull with his imba 1 lvl slow than frostbite

and about usefull alies il add this lader simply just don't want now

and about item builds  in competetive match  u spend all ur gold on wards/courier/tp's/salves  and u can't get proper items so boots/stick/urn/bracers is best what u can get

tether isn't aura  , crystal maiden has  global aura that means if ur raping oponents at their base and cm is afking in his base u still get  bonus from that ,  and destro has only 700 range with his aura

il try get some replays if il play any cw's/leagues next week

I know tether is not an aura it is skill/buff but with omnies aura is good .They losse ms you gain it

EDIT: Skill build is very different for rylai because you need to follow the game ,if you have combo with venge or ursa or any other good hero for killing take frostbite.

Please edit this guide. Always Crystal Nova is taken at level 1 (I mean by professional players). Also Rilay with phase boots hurts my eyes.

Fuck phase boots,get pt strenght.

Maiden needs boots of speed,2 bracers and observer wards and anti wards.If your team is raping hard and you got more money you can make dagger/bkb.

Phase boots on cm is must as on every hero depending on positioning. Power treads is money waste why the hell u want attack speed....

Strength Treads
Treads might seem like a horrible investment at first; the attack speed boost is completely useless and for 50 gold more you could get an Ogre Axe which can be used in a BKB or Aghanim’s. But they have one big advantage: They don’t take up an extra slot and as I mentioned before you won’t have a lot of those left over. Most pros have actually started getting strength treads on Maiden in 6.64, by now phase boots are a decent alternative again though.

Phase Boots
Phase boots are pretty great for getting in range to cast your spells and provide some survivability due to the bonus ms. They're not as good as the old phase boots obviously - armour was far better for Maiden than the extra damage is - but the extra mobility is pretty nice and they come in small pieces.
