Tuskar Ultimate Bugged /Discussion/Request

I think we should first decide if the current tusk's ulti is a bug or it's just OP in the current patch.
Every dota patch has had OP spells that got nerfed in the next patches, but if we are talking about a bug that a spell does way more damage than what the spell's description says then it should be considered as a bug.
Now if someone is abusing this bug then that is called bug abuse, which is against the rules.
Easy fix would be if Draco released a new patch with this being fixed, but this will take a while.
I don't know just how much this "mass dmg tusk ult" actually matters in a game, if it gives huge advantage to whichever team plays tusk and is aware of this bug then we can consider it as a bug abuse. If the spell just deals more dmg than usual and doesnt really have a huge impact in the game's balance then we can just call it an OP  spell.

Coder of map himself said it is considered as bug abuse. I mentioned this many times, idk what else can satisfy you?

I already explained this to you; if a spell does what it's written in the spell's description but is considered too powerful then that spell is OP not a BUG. If the spell does more damage than from what it's written in its description then it's a BUG not an OP spell.
The example that you gave about Night Stalker's bug was that of a bug abuse because the spell did something different from what it's written in the spell's description (I believe in NS case, the hero would get perma ulti)

What would satisfy me would be Tusk's ulti being tested and examined if his ulti does more damage than it is written in his spell description.

Just did some tests with the Puppet and if the normal hit does 90-100 damage, Walrus Punch did 520-580, so it is definitely a bug.

p.s. it works only if you cast Walrus Punch manually, auto-cast does way less damage.

the only problem is that in night stalker's case it was obvious who abuses the bug, but in tusk's case anyone can abuse the bug without their intention.
the only solution would be to ban any user who plays tusk, unless someone has a better idea?

If mister Confused is right and bug works only at manual ultimate usage, probably people should be:
1) Warned (twice max) in game by bug-aware people, once bug usage is noticed
2) Banned in case they abuse the bug after warns

+ Some approaches to increase bug awareness

This is option too but you need to consider that all use it manually, its habit. I mean does anyone even use it with autoccast? Or slarder ulti ?

I have to use Walrus punch on autocast sometimes, because for random reasons, manual usage has extremely big delay, sometimes order even gets cancelled, mega weird

Using walrus manually is not comfortable with this delay

This is the outcome of my test. I dont really know how to calculate correctly so didnt go in that direction.

because you dont have to know the bug to use it
just try to push your players to avoid picking it

He said he cant remember the trigger causing so high dmg. Due to this we cannot know as draco pointed. Seems like there is nothing left to discuss. Thanks anyway

yeah I also tested it and it's confirmed that warlus punch does more damage when it's used manually, meanwhile it does normal damage when the toggle is enabled.

the normal crit is 3.5x but the bug counts it as about 5x crit so the more dmg tusk gets the higher crit dmg becomes.

well 1.5 isnt much difference like u said killing in one shot lvl 6. ofc combined with desolator is deadly and it allways was.

Im unsure if you got that part of my reply.

Walrus Punch Ignores Base+Bonus armor , therefore making it stupidly OP.
Solar-Desolator-Assault and/or other armor reducing ability will have immense effect on the hero.
