It obviously said to you that you dont have directx or that you have less version then 8.1, you need upgrade.

This one looks to be the exact same problem. try this fix, or run it in opengl mode, with modifying the target part of your shortcut like this(-opengl):



(rightclick->properties on your desktop shortcut.)

Do you install directx from the link i gave you?

You doesnt need those two programs, that messenger and software removal tool, you just need that directx runtime and to install it, then we can proceede more.

There cannot be a DirectX version problem. The game is requesting at least DX 8 and you have Windows 7 with DX 11. Try Lagi's solution. If that doesn't work either than try to update your video board drivers.

EDIT: You can check your DX version by going to Run and typing dxdiag > enter.
