surprising? If you read book riverrun siege was pretty copy/paste (including the part of throwing baby with trebuchet), nobody expected arya to die (that would be surprising )

It all got mixed up, because they skipped some scenes from before and now they are giving them here. And some characters got way out of their book storyline so I don't think that even some scenes we saw will be replicated in book 6 the exact way.

The riverrun siege was however in book 4 and with minor differences (Bronn wasn't there it was Ilyn Payne and Adam Marbrend) it got pretty much replicated. (Speaches Jaime gave to Freys when he arrived and hit one in 7th episode and the speech with Edmure were both from the books).

Well anyway I hope book 6 gets released soon enough. Its been a while already. (Go kill a Stark now GRRM)
