after new challenge is posted previous challenges give 0.5 points, since those are both old and season 1 challenges you can get half for each of them completed which is 0.25 points.

So far i understood this:

- the last challenge gives 1 point
- challenges from the current season except the last challenge give 0.5 points
- all challenges except this season's challenges give 0.25 points

Note: everything i mentioned above are the awards that someone receives from completing a single challenge per game.

i think all challenges from current season are 1 point, otherwise the others that have points now should have less than a full point for doing a single challenge because they did an old one, so i guess all challenges current season are 1 point, and the benefit of doing the latest challenges is applied only with pairing multiple challenges in same game
otherwise it wouldnt make sense the fact that those other 2 atm have 1 full point for doing a challenge from this current season but kinda old one

Previous challenges in this season = 1/2 points
Challenges from last season = 1/4 points
