Are you fucking kidding me... none of the files were corrupted he had a missing or corrupted registry key all he had to do was change the string to it and it would have fixed it, then he would'ave been able to install the patch.

He possibly wouldn't. The patch he downloaded before was the patch from 1.26-1.26A. It was not the full patch. The W3 installer was probably older version.

Now its working.
