Automatic restart during 1st minutes of game

I got a friend who's PC is restarting when game starts, as soon as he prepare to pick hero.
This happens mostly on ladder games.
It doesn't reboot in other games.
He got a 2.5Ghz Processor, onboard 64 video card and 1GB DDR2 RAM, Windows XP SP3.
It happened on other operating system too, same PC.
Does anyone got a clue about this?

Well, reinstalling game never makes it worse. Turn off antiviruses and firewalls and then see. To avoid bans host ai game to check if problem is solved.

The fact that whole PC is restarting after gmestarts is really weird.

Whole computer restarting usually has nothing to do with software problems but hardware.

Is there any error at all? Blue screen?

I had same problem with Windows XP i had to switch to Windows 7 for exactly this reason,have no idea what caused it but it kept on going and it reset only when playing DOTA (Rest of games worked perfectly fine) My sugestion is just switch operating system...

Problem solved. I thank you all! It was the onboard video card (Intel). We used ATI Radeon 4350 and DotA worked fine after that. Thanks!
