Make it bannable to change game mode

Quite often we join AP/AR/RD games... the host then changes the mode, usually flooding the chat with crappy !p !p !p !p requests, so noone sees. And often people just go out of W3 window and don't check the log before the game starts.

Make it bannable to change game type from ap->ar, ar->rd, rd->ap, etc...
There is nothing that irritates me more than this (I never wish to play AR, if I join, it's by mistake ).

BTW, never do enough ppl agree to remake, so the game is s***.

You can always check the mode by !mode or !hcl commands + bot says what mode is set when host !starts the game.

All you need is to pay a little attention.

I can dig one game in a 100 a year, but this happened like 10 times in a week

I am not there to police everything in the lobby, we all want to just enjoy the game...
Noone pays attention during game lobby, we go and do other stuff (lobby takes 10 times during night time..), wait for the "Game started" sound to get back in.
Most hosts do it on purpose to annoy others.

Or add bot commands like !apallowed, !arallowed etc... which would autokick the player if the mode is not allowed instead (player commands, not host commands)

Just make it bannable. If game name shows AP, then it should be AP. Ofc announced and by the players in lobby accepted change of game mode is ok.

The only way to do this would be if the bot gets the game mode from the game name like on old bots.
In the old days if you'd create a game named -APEM ALL   etc. the bot would understand that "-apem" and set the game mode from it.

And if the gn says "cookies here" there would have to be cookies or ban...

Sometimes host changes both gn and game mode, in such a case he couldn't be banned and you still would be mad (if you would just alt tab to browser or w/e).

Just pay attention, it ain't hard, really.

You can play here for free, you have a bot and you have a staff working for you for free, all you need to do is paying attention.

Why couldnt it be as it is in current state, but with a possibility to ban "bad host" if somebody reports him?

I think its possible to code bot about this thing, for e.g: when someone wants to create a game, you should write , "mode" , maybe "PSR" and "GN"

I see soooo many hosts that got 1450 PSR and host 1500-1550+ PSR matches for fast PSR gain (or loss)
Such thing will surely spoil their "fun"

Because they do it on purpose .
Spam the lobby ( what efko. banned) and change the mode in last moment in last minute.

We should look to satisgy the majority of the players.

So in this case , Host got what he wanted, but 9 people got F*cked.

The host of a game is a very powerful being, he can kick anyone without a reason and make any gamename he wants, but the gamename he makes doesn't have to match the mode, there is no rule for that, there are barely any rules for being in a lobby at all.

So as a solution for this matter, there should be a new rule in my opinion namely:

'The gamemode MUST match the mode shown in the gamename'

- If the hosts decides he will change the mode AND the gamename (to dodge a ban) rightbefore, you will see it cause it will take more time.

- If the host wants to change the gamemode because he changed his mind halfway through he should either kick everyone or announce CLEARLY that he wants to play another gamemode.

Ofc you should always check and be aware that this can happen, many people afk or alt-tab till the game starts, if you really care about the mode you play you should pay more attention than people who care less about it.

So mainly I think this rule should be applied for the hosts that change the mode at the last moment.

I think this could solve the problem.
