GT720M and HD4600 are similar in performance but since its i5, you should chose GT720m.

Doesn't first laptop have HD 8750M? not HD 4600...

It doesn't matter, cause you can see here both are simliar in performance.

 The processor is what you should be aiming here, since both laptops have simliar graphics card, and I told you second laptop has better dual core then the first quad core, but its your choice ^^

Forgot to add that M xd anyway, with that i5 he will get better gaming preformance with GT720 than hd4600.
