Query

I would like to ask you: is the installer and the gproxy clear of any infection? my protective program keeps erasing the gproxy along with the installer for some reason known just to it. It keeps telling me its "infected" and then "threat has been eradicated" or so. Shortly - it won´t allow me to have this gproxy in computer, it didn´t mind the old one. have you encountered something alike? or is that problem just for this one protective program?

Open the AVG user interface...

Click Tools->Advance Settings...

Click Resident Shield->Exceptions...

Add the program (or file, directory) you wish to be excluded from scans...gl  :D

I must confess, without your aid I would indeed not play DOTA here again :) thanks for help

I_like_dat, it was somebit elsewhere - yes AVG interface >>tools>>advance settings (for that I´m grateful) >> Identity protection >> Allowed ...  it seems that our version (maybe due to translation) is a little bit different

also it included shutting the protection down for a minute when I had to install gproxy again.. pfff, such complications ... neverthless, thank ya

As I've said in your other thread:

Antiviruses generally see every single .exe (executable file) as a security risk (even if they are harmless), because when you launch an .exe, a program gains control of your pc, and if that program is a virus, that wouldn't be too good.

That's why you have the "allow" option, to let you decide what you want to block and what you don't want to block.
