Need HELP - want to upgrade my laptop

The problem is in the graphics. Its based on the old generation, and they say its mid range.. but comparing to what?  a desktop graphics? Hell NO!You can forget FULL HD. 1366*768 resolution - mid, some details high. thats it. If you are thinking about even bigger resolution you can aim to max LOW to MID settings.

The CPU should be enough for those games.. If you would have a better one thats only plus, but 2450m is enough.

My advice... next time dont buy and 1100euro gaming laptop, cause it wont be either.. nor a serious gaming machine nor a laptop.

Next time what you do is, if you dont need to carry your gaming rig around, and you are more than happy to play at home, buy a desktop. for 800E you can have a pretty decent gaming rig, that wil give you a very pleasant experience comparing to the 1100E laptop. And for those days when you travel, get a 13" cheap laptop for 450euros, where you can play CS or Dota.

MY EXP: IT guy, done thousands of PC, from cheap to very expensive custom built enterprise rigs. Im more of a software guy now, but still building gaming desktops for fun.

Its possible only if you change your laptop.

1.its nearly impossible to change the graphics in laptops. some very expensive models has this feature, yours probably not.
2. Even if its possible, it costs shitload of cash, and it wont fix your problem. you cant get a graphic card powerful enough to give you high details in full HD. your laptops is not constructed to feed a mobile monster graphics, + the cooling would be a big issue too.

So the solution is to get a different machine, preferably desktop.

BTW: Very nice laptop. nice design, backlit  keyboard ... Me gusta

I can give u what pc components to buy, a laptop that can run everything on high would is not in your budget.
And the one u linked is overpriced for how much u gave. HD 3000 is one of worst graphics out there, you can play dx9 games on it on high probably if u overclock it and then ur motherboard will die in few months from overheating

Ofc its shit for his budget, what u expect for 400 euros. Only thing for 400 euros worth is buying a pc not laptop.

As skywolf said, your graphics card is integrated on mother board - if you'd want to change the card, you'd have to buy new mother board that would fit to your notebook = wasted money.

If you want gaming machine, buy a PC - you'll still have your notebook for traveling. But you won't play new games when not home ofc.
Otherwise you'd have to buy very expensive, heavy 5 - 6 kg gaming notebook. Such a notebook can be upgraded but parts for notebook are usually more expensive that parts for PC.

I wouldn't buy this one.
Intel's CPUs are atm better than AMD's, if you need to disassemble the notebook, it isn't easiest with Acer, the construction is just weird - or made to not be disassembled by normal user, that sucks.
Also Acer's hinges aren't good, you'll see it after while, the display won't stay in the exact position and even little vibration will change the position.

iErnesto94 - So Ernesto, at the end the conclusion is: You cant upgrade your laptops graphics, and buying a new one with that budget you have is pretty meaningless. For that price you get a low class laptop, where build quality and speed cannot be matched to you actual laptop.
As Astaroth mentioned, get a desktop PC. If you want PM me, and I can make you a configuration for your budget.

For 550 euros I got myself a pretty good PC :
-Processor : Intel® CoreTM i3-2120 3.30GHz
-Memory : 6GB DDR3 1333 MHz
-HDD : 1TB
-Video Card : nVidia GT630 1GB
Cheap IMO, but it runs smoothly, for dota 2, skyrim, Assasin's creed 1-3 runs in highest graphics.
I bought it last year brand new from a site in Romania. I haven't had any problems with it, so it checks out .
(Desktop not included).

well, u can replace integrated GPU but its n0t as easy as 0n PC, but n0t 0n y0ur 0wn...s0me PC centers can d0 it f0r u...but keep in mind that c0lling w0nt be designed f0r it.
