Hi guys,wanted to ask does anyone know a good guide to Polish language?I got a job offer as a teacher in Poland,they need a substitution for a while the only thing is that i have to teach in Polish.I all ready know Serbian and Russian so I think it will be a bit easier(slavic roots) though I need to learn it in a quick period.I remember there were some polaks here,so if anyone knows a good guide i would hardly appreciate it.And if I take the job I'll buy you lots of piwa

Just use "kurwa" 1000 times in a single sentence and u will be fine. Anyway i dont recomend for u to come to polska, we have mega retarded politics, teachers also have mega low salary in polska, we are just country to drink vodka and forget about sad reality ^^

I got a mega good offer,good pay + free apartment and food at a friends house,probably for a year maximum.Also i got some pay for doing some programming,if it was any different i wouldn't even consider it because both Serbia and Polska have the same standard,mega low salaries,mega high bills,food and beverage only thing is that we drink rakija and you drink vodka

Still its rly hard to learn polish langueage, even with basics your students will make much fun from your accent ^^

Stop complaining. Polska is good country to live in, there are much worse countrys with much more violence and corruption. Dont me materialist, not everything turns in $$ cash. Great history, great people, great food and great views. If you not gona stay here for longer keep it in mind thats a trip and try to visit as much places as you can. You should be happy from the time spend here after all

Just stay away from local football "fans" (that should be correctly called fanatics) and politics in every kind.

About the language - if you know Russian language there should be no problem with Polish

Go out meet people and after some time you will automaticly learn it by talking with people around.

Well we in Serbia can learn accents quickly,i learnt English,Russian and Spanish(which i know 5 words max) accent in like a few hours(i had to learn how to pronounce some letters).

I will be happy because i'm happy in Serbia

I need some basics + more,because i will need to teach one day after i come to Polska.So basically i need something to begin with,rules for reading and some grammar.I'll be fine off with some minimum knowledge
