reason of votekick

hey guys, id love to know why there is "votekick command" i was just surfing ban requests and i have found this http://lagabuse.com/forum/index.php/topic,137781.0.html, i dont get the reason of votekick system, if u ban for it, then disable it maybe? on dotalicious there was no votekicking system, and it was the best, and one thing i wanna say, almost on the whole world is democrasy, so, if 8/10 people wanna kick some1, he will be kicked, so, on eurobattle is no democrasy? interesting btw id love to get normal answers

It is a difference to votekick someone without a reason and to kick someone who deserve it.

well, lets say player x from sentinel has score 0:20, ofc sentinel wants kick x, do u think that whole scourge team will vote !Yes? bro this votekick system is shit

You can only kick a player if he breaks some rule. This rule is to prevent "kicking someone coz it would be funny as hell".

So why they didnt kick other guy from scourge, who was complaining about !rmk aswell, to get 5v3 and then autoban would be off and game wouldnt be saved in ladder stats?

We know about this votekick option is not so good...we are already talking about it so hopefully we will find some better solution.

man i think if u kick next palyer to 10 min in 5v3 autoban is still on. u must leave to autoban is off. this votekick system rly sux. omg if 8/10 palyers want to kick 1 palyer so why no??they just want play normally game 4v4 its balanced YES. i rly desire for unban coz be banned for 2 days for rly totally stupid abuse is brainless.

u r srsly? every1 wants psr, u think that if some1 plays lets say 14 min so he will just kick some1 so autoban is off and game wont be saved in ladder stats? ... have u ever played any game on pd.eu? really dont act like this, u r admin, not some pubber and as saren has written, he hasnt broke any rule, so i dont see any point of banning him

@ Saren: that rule was added few moths ago and it hasnt been added in there (but could be hidden under OTHERS)...but it doesnt mean it doesnt exist since its written & desribed in In-Game rules... I will add it there 2moro morning,when I get home.

@triggerx: so ppl are playing for PSR but that guy, who was votekicked for no reason lost his, isnt it kinda unfair? I assume if u are looking for GG, then u shouldnt mind to !rmk it after 10min and arrange GN with others to get into new game in less then 2mins...do u not?
Also if u read In-Game rules carefully, u will see that Autoban is OFF when its 5v3 in 15min and game is considered as Draw, after 15min autoban is OFF but stats ARE recorded.

No, in such a situation autoban is off:

3. Player must not leave the game:
      c: Game is considered a draw and autoban will turn off  in the following situations:
4vs5 in the first 5 minutes
3vs5 in the first 15 minutes
               Note: If it becomes 3vs5 after 15 minutes autoban will turn off, but stats will be recorded!

Btw I don't see how its fair to kick a player who didn't do anything wrong (= didn't break any rule). It wasn't his fault that someone else left, so why would you kick him?
