imo i would replace tide with gyro and run naga as supp since u can vacuum in naga ulti sf+gyro+es ulti will easily give rampage no matter what time of game it is

Mid:QoP/Magnus
Safe:SD, Kunkka + 1 support that complements combo (Lesh, Lina...)

Other combo on safe lane that is almost impossible to contest is KotL+PL with almost any decent sup. Also, Bat and Nyx(Nerub) are heroes that can fit almost any composition. Furion as well, due to his map presence and ability to farm easily. Good Wisp is also something very difficult to deal with. So much options now that I think about it, that's what makes DotA great.

hmm wondering why noone mentioned dual mid yet ^^ i know its rarely to see nowadays but lich mid with some semi carry/carry w.e u prefer with a nuker/disabler/initiator offlane like puck/magnus/clock/ds and safelane weaver or gyro or w.e with a nonstop roaming vs sd wd that usually turns out nice since one of the supp goes items and other goes wards/dust/smoke..
