Confused about testgame

So I got signed for a testgame and I apparently we need to join a channel called IHRL-tg 15 minutes before the game actually begins. Now I am pretty new on the forums and I have been trying to find it without any progress, can someone aid me?

What kind of aid you need?
I mean how to join channels or about maps, tg's etc...

Dont know how to join a channel, or even what a channel is in fact.

haha I do not even know where to look in fact... can you give me a link ?

I just want to know how to join this so called tg-channel when the test game begins, I do not want to be denied just because I failed to join a channel haha :P

Ok I guess I just did not understand what you guys meant by " channel " , but it is all clear now, thx for help!
