yeah thats astral projection, from Incidious movie, i tried to do it intentionaly, almost made it.
Its a weird thing to feel though

No, astral projection is something different (something simillar to what you saw in Insidious). Sleep paralysis is a state where your body is shut down for REM sleep, paralysed (because in the REM state of your sleep your body becomes paralysed to prevent you from injuring yourself) but your mind becomes suddenly awake. And the hallucinations, like the little dwarf sitting on your chest, happen if you enter this state while you were awoken from a dream, and the hallucinations are practically a continuation of that dream.
