Gproxy problem?
« on: December 27, 2012, 17:50 »
Hello.
I have what it seems to be a Gproxy problem. When I try to enter Eurobattle.net via Gproxy it fails to connect. Instead, using the alternative without Gproxy, it connects, can join and play all games except, of course, lagabuse.com games.

I am up to date with the Gproxy, .NET 4, C++ redistribuable, the new installer and I have absolutely no idea what should I do next.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

also .NET 3.5 up to date.

Last time I played was a few days ago, and hadn't any problems at all. I'm only having problems from today.

You have to run gproxy first, then run W3.
Check if you have W3 running in Processes

Thought of that myself. There is nothing wrong. I am using the right loading order. No active w3 processes. Tried also after a fresh restart. No w3 active when I start gproxy.

Check the "Show the processes from all users" and if you can post the picture of processes(if it's easier for you then copying names),and if you don't want to post them here pm me.

Ok. Got the screenshots but dont know how to show them. I have them on a file sharing site: http://dl.transfer.ro/processes-transfer_ro-27dec-7c716e.zip

Again I must say I did not any changes to my system or W3 since I last played.

I tired that. Not working.

Uninstalled euroloader and gproxy and reinstalled. Didn't help. I will try later a full reinstall of W3.

I'll keep looking

Check if the gproxy reports the same problem(gproxy.log) when you re-installed euroloader,if it reports some other problem post again.

After a clean install of W3 and euroloader same error.

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
Maybe is my system. I will do a clean system install tomorrow. Hope it will solve the problem. Meanwhile I will still look into this

Thanks all for the help. It seems the system had a problem. Nothing worked so I had a clean system install which solved my problem. Too bad I cannot tell why it happened in  the first time
