It should be possible to join lagabuse.com channel by typing  /JOIN LA .
Like it was with playdota.eu by typing /join pd.

Im not sure what were you thinking here. Bot changed name, channel is different.

Maybe 2 things... 1st is to completely remove pd.eu channel (which still exists) or when you will write /join pd it will redirect you on LA channel (so everyone who want to join old pd will be redirected and will forget on pd channel)

There was option to join via shortcut but from day to day it disappeared.

Its about to make it easier so once playdota.eu channel is "sticky" just remove/replace it with LagAbuse.com.
or on mine old Gproxy (GproxyOne_mini) there was an option to set default channel, so once u log onto server, it joined u into channel, it was quiet good. (forgive me if its included in Stefos Gproxy,coz I have never look for that).

It was like that when lagabuse bot was introduced , but something got messed up.
