Suggestion for !votekick

Dunno, if this was suggested before so I will suggested now.
My suggestion is that we can !votekick players without the vote from oppostite team when playing 5v5. It's not something rare when the opposite team doesn't votekick a MEGAnoob, because they want to feed of him. The whole game is ruined because of the noob, and the team that has it can't votekick him without the consent of the oppossite team. I've seen jakiro getting 80% of his hp lost from the SECOND scourge tower, and died near their first - no enemy heroes were there. His items were random as they can be. He played (read:fed) all the game, cuz there weren't enough votes for !votekick, even though all sentinel agreed.

To be precise, my suggestion is to make votekick so that 4 votes (of any any side) are needed to kick a player. So the sentinel can kick their noob, without the votes of scourge. When 4v5 they would still need 4 votes, 3 of sentinel and one of scourge..
Or make it so that most from  sentinel (remaining players minus the person who is !votekicked minus one person) must vote before the player from their team can be kicked, so the scourge can't !votekick a goodplayer without the consent of sentinel. So if the game is 4v5 at least 2 from sentinel most vote + 2 from scourge so the player can be kicked.

If someone abuses votekick, then their should me a modarate duration ban for it.

You could kick someone if the votes are 90% of the players OR 100% from his team. It is actually very good suggestion.

The last time playdota.eu (partibot) used a vote system in a team was for !ff command.
!ff was bugged and the vote system was also bugged.

Now loosing HARD team agains 3-4 godlikes need to run back their fountain to let winning team just end it.

Well the situation when team votekicks would be ideal. But as said, something similiar caused buges..So as an alternitive, reducing the overall votes should make things a bit better. Because, in my experience, at least 1 or two from the opposite team votes for kicking a noob.
So reducing the votes needed (lets say to 5 or 6 when 10 players are present) should somewhat resolve the issue when a team is forced to play with a feeder.

agree wery good idea,all times oponent team not vote for kicking feeders,shoud be needed only vete fom them who req !votekick

What if enemy team is owning? And if 50% of players need to vote for a kick, they can kick a godlike player in 5secs. After that the game is 5v4. Again the team with 5 players can kick anyone from other team.

As I said, the sollution where all team or most are required to kick their teamate is the best i can think of. But until there is a way to go around the metioned bug, reducing the votekicks requred to 6 (since 5 seems to much of an abusive number). I don't know how much votes are required now...


But then again, imposing really harsh banes for players that kick godlikes, would make the abusement really rare. I am suggesting a harsh ban for the player that started votekick, and a minor for those that voted.
2 reasons why it should be really harsh. First the stronger the punishment the more people will stay away from using methods that get them punished. Second is that votekicks are totally under your responsibility, and there is no way you *can't help it* unlike leaving (when u really need to go, or being noob in pro games - they really can't help it since they are what they are)

Problem would be more ban requests that need to be checked, but as said, big bans would prevent more players from abusing it, and only a small bunch will still use it (since their is always that small bunch that is problematic)

Once i played with 4 friends in team and I got disagreed with host about few moves in game. He started votekick against me and rest 3 team m8s fallowed. Fortunately no1 voted from opposite team... So, not realy good idea.

That's why I am suggesting a minimum number of votes, not just the sentinel is enough. At least one vote from the opposite team would be required.
And btw that is clearly abusing the votekick and should be punishable by ban (a big ban for the one who issued it, and a minor one for the ppl that agreed)
If u get votekicked like that, you go to forum and ask a ban. Pretty soon, votekick abuses would be rare because no one will be willing to risk a big ban just to remove someone who he dislikes from the game. It's just not worth getting a ban over that. And it would solve the major problem (when it occurs) when you have a feeder in team and you can't kick him because the opposite teams prefer to have someone to feed upon.

99.9999999% of the time I see !votekick invoked, it's because some loser is whining because they died, and they blame someone for it, they attempt to !votekick that player, other players on the team go 'hey i need someone other than myself to blame too!' and jump on the bandwagon. If it only took the team to votekick someone off, it'd happen very often, and when it does happen know what happens? 99.999934% of the time, they keep sucking, then give up, and complain that it's because they're down a man!


I think forum bans are a much better alternative to any form of kick. The only thing I'd like to see a easier kick for is excessive feeding, if your k+a/d ratio is absolutely atrocious, like 1/10/0 then you should be easily kicked. Otherwise it's allready too easy and easily abused by rage-ers. There should at least be a cap on how many times each player can !votekick... but I've said all this before.

When I do see that kind of votekick use *blaming others* its usually initiated, but really, REALLY,  rarely sucessfull. Usually that player lacks enough votes (and I am not saying by one, its usually 3 or more) so i dont see the problem here. Even if u do get kicked by votekick abuse, you can ask for ban (which would be a longer one) so don't see players abusing it much in the future.
Thing is, when you have a meganab in team, u can ban him in forum, but the game itself will be ruined already, and you have to wait 30-50 mins while your enemy feeds on the nab enough to win the game. If you ever had a nab like that that you can't kick, you know how frustrating that is to play a game for 40 mins knowing that you can't possibly win.
And to be honest, I never saw a good player votekicked by ragers. Only those who don't teamplay or feed, in which case the kick is justified.
