imo, dota videos with effects are just rubbish, you only see dark seer coming in, using vacuum and that's it, end of video for me. For Wc3 dota effect did matter because graphics are not so good, so effect can make nice effect but Dota2 is full of effects by itself and doesn't need upgrading. But music rly matters in every dota and ability to recognize players and who did what in every teamfight or so

tl;dr effect cover up bad play
