I am a somewhat decent nevermore player (in pubs lol) and usually when i play alone i get: stats + regen>bottle>boots>PMS/Aquila>threads>dagger>bkb/manta/etheral (last items not in order)
But when i play with my mates as a team i go:
stats +regen > bottle>boots>BoT>bkb>Manta/HoT

But when i do the second build i usually skip presence of the dark lord entirely. So i am asking is skipping the aura viable?

Im just saying that i think that +8 stats to all=
8 * 19 = 152 hp
8 * 13 = 104 mp
8 IAS
.8 armour

is better at keeping yourself alive for longer for a few hits or an extra raze than a puny - armour aura. Plus nevermore early is more useful with his spells, also 26.6% (according to playdota.eu) physical damage amplification is useless that early of the game. Also its a sure giveaway that never is near because enemies have the debuff in their status bar. i'm not saying that it's completely useless spell, but rather situational.

I used to do funyn build these days on nvmr. Make lothar+manta+travel boots+ethernal+bkb+satanic. Imbastic
You go sneaky to the enemy in lothar, use ethernal on him and press ulti omgwtf.
