Ladder

Hi
I used to play Dota until 5-6 months ago then i stopped.. And as I can remember on every year aroun April u restarted the ladders.. So today i started playing again and when I saw ladder i was very suprised because it wasn't restarted and its June.. So if its not to hard can anybody tell me is there a change or ..?
Ohh and I can't find the post for signature's so if you know that as well give me the link?
Sorry for the stupid post but I'm very queries about the change
