How does playdota.eu scoresystem work?

Sad to say most of the ranking system around depends alot on killing. So if you have high kills and
win ratio, u would be ranked pretty high up. As kjag said, the ladder really dont say much.Just a brief
info on how each player plays.Example, they can own public easily having scores like 20-0 with noob
items but could easily fail in competitive games/ in house games/clan games.

As for me, I prefer supportive players more with high assists..Killers are imba too but 1-2
in a team would be enough.

Umm..I have an idea how to rearrange the system, one that has been already proven to work. But before I suggest it, I want to ask about a post a saw here somewhere, saying that the stats will soon be changed and something about 1500 points being the starting score - does anyone know what this is about, is it formal or just rumors? Because my suggestion would include it, so there could be a possibility (some of) you already came up with the same idea.

We are going to use a bayesian scoresystem, the True Skill Rating.
We move from a absolute system (the current one) to a relative one (TSR).

People start with 1500 points, they are gonna win/lose points depending on the total points of their team and the against one.

We also planning to add more bot commands when this system be released, also stats fix and mostly known current issues. There is not even an aproximately release date, so do not bother to ask when is going to be

Easy formula to calcultate score:
score ~= wins - loses +- 5

its bad....that should change....kills,creeps,deny,neutrals,assists! All that should be more rated ...

i think the score, i mean the kills, deaths and assists should be related to the number of total kills/deaths of the team

naah that would suck, i play pubs all the time...don't wanna n00bs ruin my score xD
