Seems obvious to me , for money , the only way to escape from activate is to be patreon

I think is for automatic database cleaning and easily tracking active accounts (not sure, cen knows why but Im 100% sure there is a real use behind acc activation)

About deynro comment: patreon is new stuff (1 year or so), acc activation is something much older, so no: not for money. This was added as patreon benefit bcs wasnt too much to add there. I have old admin acc and still manually activate it each month, btw.
