I read somewhere that apparently they want reforged to be straight up compatible with classic WCIII, so improving on a number of the weaker aspects of the game (hello online hosting, how are you) is out of the window. I mean, don't get me wrong, redone UI is nice, higher definiton, to some extent, is called for, and from what I've seen overall feel of the game is familiar, but outside of graphical aspect and easier setup (why should that even be considered a selling point is beyond me) there's nothing that even tries to warrant a purchase.

On a second thought, there's a chance they deliver on this specific part:  But I mean, deliver, including (but not limited to) better hotkey and ability icon management, better UI scalability (for both high and low resolutions and various aspect ratios), more powerful map editor lifting old engine limitations, and redone netcode with better built-in online lobbies and hosting (and let's be honest, they'd better allow third-party hostbots still). Not likely, but would make that whole project actually worth something. A new followup campaign would be sweet, even if it means creating alternative timeline from WoW. But that's unfortunately not going to happen.

Community seems to be taking this better than Diablo Immortal at least. Still, why would I buy this? I don't care about graphics, and I've already played the game, so what is in it for me?

I dont think I can recreate this in paint tho  I've seen pretty decent rendition of Mona Lisa made entirely in paint, but I'm with you here. Where do I even begin with this...
