In dota 2 using scripts to zoom out results in getting banned for life. I do understand that this option can be used by everyone so therefore nobody is having an advantage over the others. There are certain heroes where zooming out gives you an advantage like Tinker (not surprised Begin voted for zooming out option xd) and probably better map awarness because you see a bigger part of the map at once.
Anyway, I don't think zooming out will make someone a better player. Zooming out has its own disadvantaged like creeps getting smaller as you zoom out therefore they are harder to click.
People will complain no matter which decision you make. People like Common will still come here once a year to write a 10k word article about how he thinks the zoom out sucks.

I'd vote against having cam hack but I do not play W3 DotA anymore, thus I will not vote.

I found this vote pointless.. I remember not so long ago we use to vote for switching on 6.85 or staying on 6.83 and even if more people voted to stay on 6.83 ( including me) u switch to 6.85... However I will not vote but like how some ppl wich don't even play here anymore use to complain and talk shits.
My option is Iccup map. Cheers!

Sometimes going against the majority decision turns out correct, as it was in that case. 6.85 is much less broken than 6.83

In dota 2 the camera distance is defaultly way higher so there's no need to zoom out, jondork.
And yes, my tinker is awesome.

This should be tested, if it fixes the widescreen like its supposed to, there should be no excuses about using -camhack (Everyone should have same distance because its fair.)

my opinion is zoom out should stay becouse u should be able to see the portion of the map as is the radius/wiev distance of your hero....
i mean whats the point of haveing 1800 wiev distance on a hero if u dont see half of that on your screen

I think it should be fixed to a certain amount larger than regular (2000 let's say)
