Y when i launch my 1.28 it says launching and it never acctualy shows up and when i go in the folder which it is installed in i click the w3l it says coud not find patch location

Just exit and check if w3 is running in task manager. If it is running, stop it and start 1.28 again.
That works for me.

its ok i just solved it i deleted all msvcp files and ran w3l

Just close the client and run it again. If that does not work, restart pc, that always works!
