Title: Computer shutting off while playing dota 6.88

Anybody having issues with their PC's suddenly turning off while playing new dota 6.88???
My PC randomly shuts down while i was playing new dota 6.88. Tonight was 3rd time that happened. It does not happened before anything similar like this.
Am playing on my laptop acer E1-570, Windows 8.1 operating system.

My best guess is overheating. Its the main reason any device will shutdown itself. To prevent further damage, it will shut itself down.

Well, i'm gona stop playing dota until i buy better computer.
Tired of ruining people's game when this happen.

You should change the thermal grease and/or clean it from dust (or ask someone)

I believe 2014 notebook is good enough to run 2002 game.

Simply check you fan:
Is it running?
If yes, does the hot air come freely out? There may be lotta dust on ribbing of heatpipe and on the fan itself.

You can try some burnout software/stress test. Such a program will use your CPU and RAM on 100% to see if and how long can you computer take it.

I test it on warcraft 1.26 patch. Once CPU temperature hit 51'C.
I though first graphic was the problem.
