Title: provoking someone defuses the flames that he utters?
Post by: ntesla on July 01, 2018, 13:54
When you utter a sentence like this "you noob, you are a trash!"  it is regarded as a provoke sentence. And if the addressed person flames you because of this sentence, such as "son of a bitch" he is not banned. Because they say that you "first" provoked!

In my deep opinions, this rule should be removed asap. This is a game and you can say "you noob!" and this shouldn't be seen as a sentence giving a right someone to swear you.

I will talk for that game; Both of you insulted each other and then in later he flamed you,and it wasn't because you called him noob inside of you called him dog also lets check about that:
10:31    nTESLA    [Allies]    wheere
10:31    nTESLA    [Allies]    is
10:32    nTESLA    [Allies]    ss
10:34    nTESLA    [Allies]    son of a w....
You flamed one of your teammate for he didn't wrote ss while he flamed you because you insulted each other,if he should be get ban about that you should be get more ban rather than him because you flamed someone without any reason,if you think my decision wasn't fair you know you can check in there (http://dota.eurobattle.net/la/forum/index.php?topic=126889.0.htlm) for creating complaint template for Akuma

You are right about its game but if you could call anyone 'dog, noob, trash etc.' not everyone will just ignore that ofc some people insult or flame back you especially when they were about lost,it wouldn't be fair to banning him with same condition as someone who flames anyone without any reason imo

You are right about my behaviour  that i showed about the lack of "ss" origin. I couldn't help myself. Next time I must behave in a way that i want people to behave  to me.

But, provoking rule must be re-checked and spoken all over, i think.

We don't consider "noob", "retard" and similar words, much of a provocation unless it's repeated multiple times, which by default means it's meant to provoke other players.

Can you post specific request so I can check this situation?

I see you are active on forum, but you didn't reply on my post, so I took a guess, that you won't do it.

I hope you got this rule explained.
